Fred is a four-year-old, deaf, white male boxer who loves to cuddle and play! He is over the moon about any sort of toy or treat, and he will play -even by himself - for hours. He can also be very quiet at times, and because he is deaf, he can sleep undisturbed for long naps after playtimes every day! He is slowly learning some sign language; he knows "sit" (at dinner mostly), and curb! Fred is crate trained, although he barks if he can see you while he is in his crate. Fred likes most other dogs, especially dogs that like to play hard! Fred wouldn't do well in a house with cats, or small children, because he can't hear when he is being repremanded. But what Fred misses in his hearing he makes up for with his big heart and happy smile. He is a very special, playful boy who desperately needs a family to be a part of!
