Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Introducing Daly to LSBR!  So, I’m your typical boxer baby......friendly and full of energy! Someone left me tied up outside of a local rescue and reached out to LSBR to help find my new forever home!  I’m estimated to be about a year old.  I’m super friendly with people as well as other dogs but I haven’t been evaluated around cats or kids yet.  My foster mom reports that I’m house broken, crate trained and although I have a lot of energy, I’ve shownmy  side too!

I want everyone to know that I’m named after a very special person.....someone that was crazy about the boxer breed and dedicated a lot of time volunteering for boxer rescue!  I hope I can live up to the name!
