Update 7/10: I’m now in a fulltime foster home! I’m getting along so well with my little English bulldog buddy! Let me tell you, I’m totally different from the scared girl that found herself stuck in a shelter......I’m learning to trust again because the people I’m surrounded with exhibit love and I can trust them! I’m a happy girl and I’m now enjoying life....a life that exudes love and attention! It’s all about a loving, positive environment!

Update 5/25: I’ve been in a temp foster home for several days and my foster mom says that she’s starting to see some progress. I’m feeling more comfortable around her.....not so much my foster dad though, given time, I think I’d come around. I seem to be much more trusting of females vs males. I‘m really started to show my personality And I’m quite the happy and affectionate girl! I now run around the house doing boxer zoomies without a care in the world! It’s also been revealed that I’m a big foodie and will crate well for a treat!
While I’m still very cautious, my foster mom says that I’m opening up more each day. She says that, while my trust will have to be earned, I will be fiercely loyal to the person I bond with.

Dutchess here.....I’m new to the LSBR program. I just arrived from a Beaumont Shelter where I was surrendered by my family due to my skin condition. I will start undergoing treatment which will soon resolve the issue. Can I just say that I’m terrified?! I sat in the shelter shaking uncontrollable! It’s a scary place! Im estimated to be 6 years old and about 60 pounds. I’m going to take the next few weeks to decompress while I’m being vetted.....I‘m in desperate need of some love and pampering!
