Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Learn more about the Boxer.

My name is Inca – doesn’t that sound regal and exotic? I kind of think I look that way, too! I’m a good-looking, middle-aged girl (about six or seven) and I have had my share of litters. But no more of that! I’m very gentle and submissive, and my greatest joy is cuddling with my human friends. I would be great with kids, even though I’m not that into playing a lot. Why use up all of that energy when I could be lounging around inside? I get along with other dogs just fine, and sometimes I get just the teeniest bit jealous if I suspect they are getting more attention than I. But I’m a lady, first and foremost, and I don’t make too much of a fuss. Most of all, I just want to be a companion to my special someone – and that could be you!
