My name is Bucky since I leaped out the door of the SPCA like a joyful deer when my foster mom picked me up. I like it. Maybe when I mature, I can be called Buck.
I have quite a story even though I am just a 9 month old puppy. There are many paths to fame but unfortunately for me, my path to fame came as a result of being neglected. As a result, I became part of a cruelty case and may be on Animal Cops Houston in the future.
Celebrity doesn't matter to me though. I was so happy when the SPCA rescued me and my friends. I just wanted a meal and some love and I received all of that at the SPCA.
I was a skeleton when I was rescued, weighing only 19 lbs. In less than a month, I gained 10 lbs and now I'm in a fun foster home with LSBR. There is a sweet 6 year old girl to play with and lots of other boxers to play with too. There are doggy toys everywhere and the most delicious food and treats.
For being so young and neglected, I am rather smart. I already know "sit" and I am very respectful of my foster mom's older dogs. I"m kind of a Foodie. I LOVE food. You would too if you went without a meal as long as I did.
I am now a healthy, happy puppy ready to live out the rest of my life in a forever home. But don't worry, just because I'm a celebrity, I'm not high maintenance. All I want is what any dog wants - a home full of family that will love, respect and stay commited to me and in return, my family will have the most grateful dog in the world.
