Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi there, I'm Flynn. Just like the Irish origin of my name, I can get a little drunk on life and unruly. I like to consider myself a little diamond in the rough who just needs the right owner to polish my rough edges and help me become the ultimate Boxer I know I can be. I'm an active boy who's had little socialization, but I'm sweet and a quick learner, and I think that is what makes all the difference. I was able to learn "sit" and "high 5" in just 15 minutes. With a little more work and time, I could probably even learn to do a Texas-Two-Step! I just love life, especially now that I've been rescued and on my way to finding a forever home. I can get excited and a bit rambunctious, but I'm super friendly and I calm down quickly. I'm approximately 3 years old and heartworm negative. I appear to be housetrained and I'm still working on the crate training. Please give me the chance to be your ultimate Boxer and take me home!
