Hello! My name is Clara Belle, and I’m a pretty fancy lady, don’t you think? How often have you seen a black boxer? Beautiful, huh? I feel so blessed because less than two months ago I was on a euthanasia list, but some wonderful people helped me find my way to LSBR – and here I am! I am very sweet and laid back, and I get along just fine with other dogs. And I simply adore being with people! I’m recovering from a slight case of mange, which I think I got because of this relentless heat, but other than that I am feeling great!

What do you think about my name? I love it because not only is it the name of a pretty black cow who was best friends with Minnie Mouse, but it’s also the name of a beautiful young singer who plays the ukulele! In fact, Clara Belle actually means “bright” and “famous,” so I think I am destined for big things! I mean, how many girls look this good in a tiara? Hollywood, here I come! Unless, of course I find the perfect family, and then I would much rather stay at home and cuddle. With my tiara on, of course.
