I'm a really sweet boy named Custer. I have natural ears and a pretty nice face, don't you think? When I stand on my back legs, I'm a long, tall Texan, and one thing these long legs are good for is running! So you need to watch me when I'm near an open door or gate, but I'm learning that's not proper behavior. I'm no more than three years old, and I've had some not-so-pleasant experiences with people. But one thing I've learned since being with my new LSBR friends is that I can trust people again, and that makes me very happy! My favorite days are spent lounging on my comfy bed and chewin' on a bone or playing with toys. It doesn't take too much to make me a happy guy, but I'd be beyond thrilled to find a family of my own. (Oh and BTW...my tail kept getting into trouble and was broken, sore, or infected all the time...so my new friends had it removed. Now I am so happy to be pain free!!! But it is a little harder to chase my tail these days!)
