Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

ADOPTION PENDING!!

Hey, hey, hey folks.....my name is Bruno!  I'm a stunning 5 year old fawn boxer boy who has been in a home all my life but due to changes in my family's life they are surrendering me and my sister, Bella to LSBR.  I'm sad about this but I know there's another great family out there that needs me and I look forward to finding them!

My mom says that I love to play and I absolutely love attention.  I am an energetic, playful, loving, protective attention-hog!  I'm protective of my food around other dogs so I should be fed separately from any other dogs in my household.  I am housebroken, crate trained and often prefers to sleep in my crate.  I am sometimes a little clumsy.....not the gentlest giant (ha ha), but I really enjoy playing with the 22 month old toddler in my current home.  

I would love to adopt an active family that will play with me, exercise me and love me for the cool guy I am!
