ADOPTION PENDING!
Hi everyone....my name is Becky and I'm 4 years old. I was taken into a shelter as a stray but was so relieved when my owners were found! But happiness soon turned to sadness when I realized that they didn't come to claim me. Then I found my way into the LSBR program and now I'm in a wonderful foster home! I know that the home LSBR is going to help me find is going to be lots better than the one I came from!
My foster family can't believe I wasn't claimed from the shelter........they say I'm a total sweetheart! I'm settling into my foster home very well. They report that I'm fully house trained and have very good manners. I don't jump on people when they come to visit. Instead, I demonstrate my happiness with a very cute 'wiggle-butt'! I'm also not a 'chewer' or 'barker'. As you can see from my pictures, I'm sharing my foster home with two other fur babies and we get along just fine. I walk well on a leash and I know some basic commands like 'sit'.
I'm currently undergoing heartwearm treatment so I'm not allowed to play yet. That's okay though because I'm an easy going girl anyway. During the day, I lay on my bed next to my foster dad while he works and I'm quite content!
I'm still confused why my former family didn't claim me from the shelter but I'm looking forward, not backwards! I know that I'm an awesome girl with a lot of love to give and I'm going to make someone a wonderful companion!
