Meet Violet.......UPDATE 8/16/16
Wow....I just landed in a great foster home! I'm feeling much better, I've gained some much needed weight and my skin is looking much better!
My foster mom says that I'm a very sweet girl and...surprise....I have a beautiful natural tail! I play well with others (and I love to play), I share my toys and bed, I'm more of a submissive girl and I'm just a genuine all around laid back southern bell! I am house broken and crate trained and, although I haven't been evaluated around kids yet, I can't imagine why I wouldn't just love them. I'm learning how to walk well on a leash and how to play fetch! My new obsession is chasing the squirrels in the back yard....and, as you may have guessed, I'm just too interested in cats to make them part of my family! My foster mom says that I will thrive in an active home. She says that I would make an awesome running partner.
I would like nothing more than to find a great forever home....I'm crossing my paws that one is in my not so distant future! Hugs.....Violet

Hi folks....my name is Violet and I'm brand new to the LSBR program. I am a beautiful flower just waiting to bloom at the moment! As you can see, I'm extremely skinny, I have sores on my body and I'm very, very sad! I just don't feel well right now but that's all about to change!
I'm currently being vetted where I'll get the care I need and then I'll be looking for a wonderful foster home or forever home that will be able to nurse me back to 100%!
