Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

My name is Tristan and like the great 12th century famous lovers, Tristan and Isolde, I am quite the lover too. I'm not only a gentleman with inpeccable manners but quite handsome too! It's a little difficult to tell me and my brother, Starbuck, apart. The patch on my left eye is more of a half patch. All I know is that we are both good-looking little boys. My mommy is a full boxer and my daddy is of unknown origin. Mom says he has some special secret agent job or something but I don't know if I believe all that. That's okay. Mom is doing a great job raising us along with my foster mommy. I will be 6 weeks old the week of March 2nd and should be ready for adoption the weekend of March 7th."
