Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Boonie is a beautiful, two-year-old, flashy fawn female. Playful and sweet, she gets along with other dogs but has not been evaluated around cats. Boonie is house and crate trained, and we suspect she may have been taking flying lessons on the sly, because she can sail over a chain link fence. Her new owners will need to pay attention to this special “skill.” Boonie was surrendered by her owners who had to move and couldn’t take her with them. Won’t you give this gorgeous girl a home she can stay in forever?
