Boudreau is a handsome, mellow and affectionate Boxer mix, about 3-4 years old, who is being fostered in Austin. He was most likely a refugee from Hurricane Katrina, based on his physical condition at the time he was rescued. Boudreau hasn’t missed any meals at his foster mom’s, and is now at his ideal weight. Boudreau is fine when gated in the kitchen, but any delicious home-cooked delicacies left on the counter top are considered fair game.
Boudreau is a very smart guy. He is quick to learn, taking every opportunity to please his master. He is an impressive charmer with loads of character. Boudreau is up to date on all of his immunizations and has completed his heartworm treatment. Boudreau has one move visit to the veterinarian’s office to make sure he does not contribute to canine overpopulation. Boudreau is a well-mannered gentleman who is great with children, other friendly dogs, and cats. When left alone, Boudreau likes to gather any items left lying around and put them in a pile. He does not damage or chew the items; he just keeps himself busy gathering and piling. After a lot of pampering and Texas hospitality from his foster mom, it is time for this dashing and debonair guy to find his forever home. Boudreau will make a loving and devoted companion for someone willing to open his or her heart and home to this amazing animal.
