Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.
I'm Bunny from Austin, although I'm currently living with a nice foster family in Houston. I'm a lily-white beauty with a natural tail, and I am so happy to be one and one-half years old! I was almost euthanized before being rescued, and that scares me to even think about it. I had a litter of pups not too very long ago, and I've been treated for heartworms, so I think I'm in great shape right now. Plus, I'm so cute! I feel so loved and safe in my new foster home, and I absolutely adore my foster brother and sister, but I sure would like to find my own forever home. I like other dogs, but would prefer to not have any cats in the family. (They are just so, so feline!) Please give me a chance to be a very special member of your family. I think you'll find me to be the ultimate snuggle-bunny!
