Lenny needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
IN NEED OF A FOSTER HOME UNTIL I CAN BE ADOPTED!
Meet sweet Lenny! My name is Lenny and, although I'm only skin and bones right now, there is a big, handsome boxer within just waiting to blossom! I was recently found in South Texas as a stray but the shelter found that I had a microchip! Whew........I was so happy that my family would be able find me!!! Unfortunately, my family told the shelter they no longer wanted me. That was crushing but the shelter worked really hard to network me and here I am.
I had The opportunity to be in a temporary foster home with other pups and I did so well! My foster mom said that I’m such a sweet boy! I know how to sit on command, walk well on a leash (and I enjoy long walks), am house broken and crate trained. I‘m actually partial to my crate.....when the door is left open, I let myself in! It’s like my own little quiet space. At night I even sleep in my crate but I don’t like the dark....leaving a light on makes everything fine!
I'm now a Houston Texan and I'm so excited to be here......I know that the nice people at LSBR will help me find a wonderful, loving forever home! The family lucky enough to adopt me into their family will be quite happy.....I love my people and everything about being around my people. I love the companionship, the attention, belly rubs....you get the picture! I’m such a special boy and would love to meet you!
