Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Learn more about the Boxer.

My name is Brassy and I am an 18 month old flashy brindle. I am pretty timid because someone was real mean to me in my last home. Now I'm in a foster home with two brothers and I'm starting to warm up to everyone. I just get scared at loud noises sometimes. I get along with kids and dogs of all sizes but I'm not sure about that darn cat. I don't love to go into my crate but once I'm in there I'm ok. My foster mom says I'm almost all the way house trained, I only have accidents when I'm left alone too long. I am young so I have time to catch on. Can I please come live with you and love you?
