Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Are you looking for a super sweet buddy?  Well, I am super sweet and my name is Buddy!  I am gentle and loving and and I like to be scratched, go for rides, take naps and give lots of boxer kisses!  I get along fine with dogs, cats and children but since I'm an older gentleman, I'd prefer a home with older children.  I'm crate trained, house trained and I'm starting to get the hang of the doggie door.  So, are you convinced yet?  I'll make an absolute wonderful companion!  Oh and one more thing....I'd love it if I could be adopted with my sister, Sugar.
