Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi, my name is Thor and I was wondering, do you believe in angels? I sure do. Angels rescued us after we had been dumped. They found me and my good friend, Vesper, living in an abandoned house in the country. Poor Vesper had a horrible leg wound and we were both so hungry and scared.

Yes, angels are real. We have gone from living without hope, to living in a wonderful foster home receiving lots of love, good food and medical care.

A little about me...I am about two years old and although I am white, I am not deaf. No one ever gave me much attention so I'm learning all kinds of new stuff. I am dog-friendly but kitty's are too interesting to me. I'm also a good-looking, tall guy and I love food so I'm eager to please for a treat.

I believe the angels will find me a forever family and I'm hoping it's with you.
