Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hello.......my name is CJ which stands for cute....which I certainly am!  and jumbo which my foster mom thinks I'll be!  I currently outweigh my brother by 7 pounds!  She also says that I'm a huge lover boy.......I can't help it....I love everyone I encounter!  I'm a total lap dog....if you let me that is!  My foster mom also says that I'm incredibly smart.....well, I learn fast because I'm motivated by FOOD (see comment above about my anticipated size!!!).  I am already pretty consistent with 'sit', 'down', and 'go to bed' and I'm only a baby!  If you are interested in adding a cute, potentially jumbo, and smart boy to your family.......well, look no further.....you've found me!!!
