Meet Jersey

Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hello folks........my name is Jersey. Why Jersey do you ask? Well, I'm a two year old brindle girl with plenty of attitude! JWOWW might have been a better name for me but we'll go with 'Jersey'!

I am absolutely a sweet girl who loves people! I'm playful, energetic and I aim to please which means I learn easily. I walk well on a leash and know basic commands. I would love to find a home where I'm an only dog and please, no cats! I would also do well in a home with older children.

Call me Jersey but I love Houston and would really, really like to find my forever home here! If you think you deserve me, just contact the nice people at LSBR!
