Marley is a 2 yr old sweetheart! She was out running with a canine friend when she was hit by a train. Sadly, her friend didn't make it. Marley had a rough go of it (touch and go for about a week) because her leg had been broken. Major infection had set in by the time she was found and made her way into rescue. She was seen by a vet immediately and we tried to save the leg but that wasn't an option. Her left rear leg was amputated but the infection continued to travel so the incision had to be opened and flushed multiple times per day. She's a strong girl and has completely recovered.
Marley loves children, other dogs (big and small), and has tested very well with cats. She likes to run, YES RUN, and play with her canine friends or just relax with a favorite toy. She has no idea that she's different but she knows she's special in her foster mom's eyes.
