Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi everyone! I'm Buster Brown, and although I may be as cute as the old cartoon character, I am definitely not the rascal he was! I am so sweet and gentle, and I get along with most everything and everyone: female dogs, cats, kids - I'll be tested around male dogs soon. I'm a boxer mix with beautiful markings and the tail I was born with, and I'm just about one and one-half years old. I was rescued by the nicest person who is taking care of me until LSBR helps me find my forever home. I can't wait! (And I hope I get my own little pink slipper!)
