Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi y'all! I'm George. Now, depending on which way the wind blows, you may or may not like my name (feel free to change it if you don't!) But one thing that's certain is that I am an awesome little guy. I'm just 13 months old, and so far I have no bad habits to speak of. I get along with other dogs, I'm crazy about little kids, and I'm house and crate trained. The jury is out regarding cats - but who knows? I'm such an easy going fella that I might just like them, too! I love, love, love to ride in the car, plus I am in heaven when surrounded by squeaky toys and chew ropes. Right now I live in San Antonio, but I'm open to change. All I want is a home of my own, and I don't care where that is!
