Hi! My name is Karin and I'm about 3 yrs old. I've had a rather rough start in life and it shows a little because I am a bit shy when I first meet people. You see, I was pregnant and only a few days away from having my puppies when I was surrendered at the pound. I was very afraid and unsure of what was going to happen next. Thankfully, I was not there long before I was picked up and taken to what they call a foster home. My foster mom helped me birth my puppies but sadly I lost all of them. This left me with great sadness and I unfortunately didn't work out in that home due to that. I have started moving on and am now in a new foster home and I am learning to be a part of a family again. I'm slowly starting to rebuild my confidence. My new foster mom says I am very playful and loving. I like to chew on my toys and play fetch with my squeaky ball. I'm crate and potty trained which my foster mom says is a good thing. I like to walk and we are working on on some commands such as "close, sit, watch me, and ok". I am still pretty shy and tentative with new people but slowly improving. I now have a fur foster brother and so far we have gotten along pretty well. We don't hang out all of the time simply because I'm still adjusting to the home life. Even though I've been through some hard times, I have a lot of love to give. Please ask for Karin and let me show you just how great I can be.
