Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.
Hiya! I'm Klaus. I know you are probably wondering why on earth am I on Boxer website? Well you see I was rescued with my pal Jagger (he is a Boxer). We were hoping to be adopted together because I loved him so much. Unfortuately, people just weren't interested in both of us so after much sadness we had to be split up. My buddy got adopted and is enjoying his new life in his forever home. I was pretty sad about that until this amazing family took me into what they call a foster home. I'm learning all about life without him. My foster mom says I'm super sweet and a professional snuggler. One of my favorite things to do is play catch (I even bring the ball back). I get along with other dogs and I'm interested in kitty cats (mostly curious but who wouldn't be with something the same size as you?). I love my 3 year old human foster sister, especially when she pets me & rubs my belly. Did I mention I'm crate trained? I know I'm not a Boxer or even a Boxer mix but I do have a heart that is bigger then Texas and I'm searching for a forever family to share this big heart with. PRETTY PLEASE!
