Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

My name is Maggie and what a lucky girl I was when a nice family saw me wandering around scared and confused in a parking lot and they offered me a safe place in their home. Sadly though, my foster lives in a rental home and they are not allowed to have another pet so I need a new foster or better yet, a forever family of my own.
The vet thinks I'm a little over a year and I am in excellent health with none of those mean, creepy pests called heartworms. I am fully vetted and as you can see from my photos, I LOVE kids, other dogs, even little ones and cuddling.
I am so thankful to my current foster family for taking a chance with their landlord and rescuing me off the street. Their act of kindness has given me a chance at a good life when so many others drove past me. Will you help them by adopting me? I promise you won't regret it. I will love you furever!
Please contact Sheila at 713-203-2046 or email her at d.sander@sbcglobal.net if you would like to expand your family with a loving, healthy, young, sweet soul like me.
