Hi my name is Brutus and I am having my first birthday in a few days!! I have a lot of playful puppy energy and will need to be in a home with a medium to large dog who is not a senior. I still have a little fear of men but I LOVE the ladies. Men I have to get used to and once I do, I love them just as much! I am less fearful when I have a fur sibling around me. I lost my sister before I was brought into the program and I miss her lots.
So why don't you come meet me and see how special I am?

I am crate trained and house trained and I sometimes get left out of the crate for short periods of time with my foster siblings. I know how to sit and wait patiently for a treat and I am very gentle taking it from your hands! I LOVE LOVE LOVE to walk and ride in the car. Especially my foster moms convertible. I am leash trained and walk extremely well for a young man.
I know "off" and it means I have to get off the bed or couch, "sighs" I love laying on the bed. I think I will love kids but there aren't any in my foster home and I will need a slow introduction in case I get excited and jump. Cats you ask? Well, I don't know as I haven't met any of those either, but I LOVE to chase birds.
I had Demodex mange pretty bad when they found me and it's all healed per my vet, and my fur has grown in very well. Check out my "before" picture below. I am a handsome devil if I do say so myself. I like baths and showers and Mom says when I grow into these feet, I am gonna be a tall, lean, muscle machine. Whatever that is!
