My name is Magnum and as you can see I'm a senior boy but I sure do have a lot of pep left in my step! How did I end up with LSBR at my age, you may ask? Well, my only 'fault' was that I am old. That's right......my owners surrendered me to a shelter because I am old! So much for loyalty, huh!
When I was posted to Facebook, so many people came to my aid. Boy am I forever grateful! Now, I'm just looking for a comfortable place to lay my head and a family to love! I get along well with other dogs and seem to be okay with cats too. On my way out of the shelter, I met several 5-7 year old children and I was very sweet with them....I even gave one a slobbery kiss! What can I say, I was VERY happy to be leaving the shelter! I know how to 'sit' and 'lay down' and I REALLY enjoy getting my ears and belly rubbed! I must say that I really don't like my crate....I'd much prefer to be hanging out with my peeps!
I just don't understand why someone would throw me away because of my age...especially because I've been a loyal and loving companion for so long! Well, I guess I will never understand so I'm just putting it behind me and looking forward to a wonderful new family......could that new family include you?
