Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

ADOPTION PENDING!!!!

My name is Thomas...I came to LSBR recently where I was known as 'Mr. Bones'.  Yes, I was nothing but skin and bones!  

I was in pretty bad shape when I entered the LSBR program but happy to report that I've been making very good progress....gaining weight and all!

I'm good with other dogs and cats.  They say i am a super guy with a GREAT temprament!  I'm happy to report that I just made my way into a foster home so more details will be posted about me once my foster mom gets to know me!  By all accounts though, I would make a great addition to pretty much any home so don't wait too long to meet me!  Call me....hunka, hunka burning love!
