Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Introducing Cash......brand new to the LSBR program!  I was picked up recently as a stray with my buddy, Clay.  We were in pretty poor condition......covered in fleas and filthy dirty. Thank goodness that LSBR came to our rescue.

I'm approximately 2 years old and I'm good with other dogs.  I'm told I'm timid at first (whatever that means) and I'm one sweet hunk of love!  If you're wondering if I'm deaf....the answer is 'no' since I've responded well to verbal commands.  I'm currently being vetted and focused on getting well.  I'll soon be looking for a foster or forever home!
