Sweet Phoenix.......just arrived to the LSBR program with Jerico. Phoenix is a young, sweet boy who is quite simply a love of a dog! From his condition, it appears that Phoenix has endured a hard life on the streets. His front left leg is bent from an old break; however, he is still able to use the leg. The vet said that short of amputation, there isn’t much that can be done to repair the old break. No worries though....it may look funny to others but it doesn’t seem to affect Phoenix and his sweet disposition.
Phoenix is now in a foster home and his foster mom reports that he is house broken, crate trained and knows basic commands! He is wonderful with kids of all ages as well as all dogs he encounters. There are no cats in his foster home so we aren't sure how he would do in a home with cats!
