My name is Pearlie but I'm more like a diamond in the rough! As you can see from my pictures, I've had better days. I was found living in a field and it was very tough to survive. The stress became too much for me and, as a result, I developed this skin condition.
No worries now, though, because a nice lady found me in that field and got me into the loving arms of LSBR! Now I'm in a very good foster home and I'm getting the medications I need to clear my skin.....and I'm already looking MUCH better. When I was found, I had no hair. Now, my hair is growing back in and I'm going to be a beautiful brindle girl!
My foster mom says that I get along very well with the 6 other dogs of various breeds and sizes and 4 cats in my foster home. She says that I have lots of energy....typical of a young boxer, I'm crate trained, house broken and learning basic commands!
I'm learning what it's like to be a fun loving, happy, playful boxer girl. Best of all, I'm learning what it takes to live in a home and be part of a family! I know all this work is preparing me for the perfect forever home that I hope to find just as soon as I'm completely vetted (which will be in September).
